Week 1 - Day 1

Took me a long time to get motivated to the point where I am today. I dont know how I got so lazy! I played basketball for almost 10 years starting in Jr. High all the way until College. It all ends today! I had a gym membership to planet fitness for 2.5 years and went 3 times. SMH! It was too much to get out of work at 5:30, to head uptown get to the gym by 6:30pm, workout and get home late. Now I have no excuse! NYC now offers a free fitness program. I chose Chelsea Rec. Center because its a 10 minute walk from my job. Classes start at 6pm end at 7pm I'm home at a decent time. Today was hip cardio dance. At first I wanted to just walk out and leave but I stuck through with it and actually felt good afterwards minus the soreness!
I have this really cool app called my fitness pal that counts my calories. I'm suppose to eat 1500 calories a day. Today I stayed under, and drank 8 cups of water! Today was a good day. *****
